The Burlington Cougars faced the Newmarket Hurricanes in the Central Canadian Hockey League west final last week. I shot two games in the series, Newmarket absolutely cleaned up, it didn't seem like Burlington had a chance. The Hurricanes are now waiting for the winner of the East Division final between Bowmanville and Wellington. Some of my photos ran in the Burlington Post, that was a first for me.
From YorkRegion.com "For now the answer to the age-worn debate — defense or offense — is the former. Gotta go with the defense after the Newmarket Hurricanes threw up a brick wall at the Burlington Cougars in the Central Canadian Hockey League West Division championship series Thursday night, recording a 6-1 win to complete a best-of-seven series sweep"
